The Only Certified Flame Retardant Applicator for Yachts in Thailand
In partnership with MVM System (UK) — plus AFNOR-certified 180°C soft-surface disinfection.
Flame Retardant Treatment
A compliance deadline, not a hygiene inconvenience
Commercial vessels under 500 tons registered under a Red Ensign Group (REG) flag — UK, Isle of Man, Cayman Islands, BVI, and others — must renew flame retardant treatment certification every 2 years to maintain class. Missing this isn't a hygiene inconvenience — it's a compliance failure that can affect a vessel's certification status.
The only certified applicator in Thailand
Steam Cleaning Phuket is the only certified applicator of marine-certified flame retardant treatment, in partnership with MVM System (UK). We provide the certified documentation vessels need to achieve and maintain class under REG flag requirements, for commercial vessels under 500 tons. Service is available throughout Thailand.
Cleaning and decontamination of mattresses, sofas, curtains, carpets, and upholstered furniture — indoors and outdoors

A closed environment that contaminates fast
A yacht's interior is a closed environment — humidity, salt air, and constant guest turnover accelerate the same contamination that takes months to build up in a house. For chartered vessels, crew accommodation hygiene also falls under scrutiny during MLC 2006 (Maritime Labour Convention) welfare inspections and charter guest expectations alike.
Brought to the berth
We bring the same AFNOR-certified 180°C process to the marina — mattresses, sofas, curtains, and upholstered furniture, indoors and out. Carpets are treated with low-moisture cleaning for fast drying in a closed environment. Delicate and technical fabrics like Alcantara and fine leathers — suede and nubuck — receive specialized cleaning suited to the material, preserving fiber and finish. No airing out, no off-limits period, and documentation captains can keep on file.
One marina visit, both services
Mobile service at your marina berth, scheduled around guest turnover, charter season, or the 2-year flame retardant renewal cycle — both services can be booked in the same visit.
